We were engaged to reimagine and rebuild Pasolite’s digital commerce ecosystem — covering UX design, frontend and backend architecture, and the integration of AI tools to improve product discovery, personalization, and operational workflows.

The result is a responsive, scalable, and intelligent platform that empowers both retail and trade customers to search, compare, quote, and order lighting products seamlessly.

The original site followed a one-size-fits-all approach, failing to distinguish between B2C shoppers (looking for inspiration, small purchases) and B2B buyers (seeking specifications, large volume quotes, and recurring orders).

Inefficient Product Discovery

With thousands of SKUs across categories, materials, wattage types, and design styles, users struggled to navigate and filter through the catalog efficiently — leading to high drop-off rates.

Manual Quotation & Inventory Handling

Dealers and distributors relied on offline processes or phone/email requests to get quotations and availability updates, which slowed down the sales cycle and strained operational resources.

Lack of Personalization

There was no AI or logic to recommend products based on user intent, behavior, or context — making cross-selling and up-selling nearly impossible.

To solve Pasolite’s multi-dimensional e-commerce challenges, we built an end-to-end digital ecosystem that combined intelligent experience design, robust backend development, and AI-powered features tailored to both business buyers and retail customers.

For B2C customers, the interface focused on clean visuals, inspirational categories, and a simplified cart and checkout flow. Filters were optimized for aesthetic choices like product color, shape, and ambience.

For B2B users, we introduced a more functional, specification-driven workflow. Trade users gained access to detailed technical information (wattage, IP ratings, installation types), bulk quotation tools, multi-product selection, downloadable catalogs, and quote versioning features — all from a personalized dashboard.

B2B users typically require multiple products, with variable quantities, across large projects. Our solution was a drag-and-drop quotation builder that allowed them to select multiple products, configure quantities, and submit quote requests in one click.
